This department is saddled with the responsibility of providing Community Based Rehabilitation services on livelihood empowerment, health matters, emergency interventions, awareness creation on disability issues e.t.c. counseling Services are also offered to the handicapped groups by this department. The aim is to help individuals to understand themselves their capabilities of coping strategies for their disabilities and their integration into the society. A public enlightenment campaign using the mass media presentation and seminar for positive change of attitude as it is vital for this purpose.
