This Department trains disabled persons, lunatics, juvenile delinquents, widows and the less privileged groups in vocational skill programs such as hair dressing salon, local food processing, bakery products, bead making, tailoring/fashion designing, carpentry, knitting/ weaving bags, foot and car mats, shopping baskets, shoe making, soap making, agro allied(animal) such as fishery, poultry, piggery, grass cutter and crops production so as to empower the rehabilitees to live self-reliant and self-sustained life. The integral aspect is to showcase that people with disabilities have talents and abilities that can be utilized by the society. The product or items produced are sold out for income generation for the Board. Some items are given out free as honorariums to our visitors.
