Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, born on May 15, 1966, is a distinguished Nigerian Catholic Priest and politician. He assumed office as the Executive Governor of Benue State on May 29, 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to progressive governance.

State Rehabilitation Board was established under the Edict Notice 13 of 1999 of Benue State Government by His Excellency, Dr. George Akume, and former Governor of Benue State on the 18^th day of June 2001. It is located at Km 13 Apir Makurdi Aliade Road Makurdi Benue State. This came to actualize the dream of United Nations Declaration Act 1992, subsection 4 into practice, which calls for International Communities and the Federal Government elect for setting up Boards and Department for Rehabilitation of the special people amongst member countries.
